It most certainly didn’t look expensive :toofunny:

and? the evolving screen CGI that morphed the look of the stage from song to song was incredibly immersive from what i saw and if that was achieved for less money than elaborate props then her and the team deserve credit for it

the visibility issues are a valid critique though

mother, what must i do?

The only good thing about the stage were the visuals on the screens. The stage itself looked super cheap, small, and too simplistic. The catwalks weren’t long enough, they were barely used, the main stage had a laughably basic lighting set up, it was way too short height wise, so many bad viewing angles, a boring b-stage with a random keyboard on it, and absolutely no moving parts.

It was just so basic to what it could have and should have been. There was so much they could have added to make for a more exciting spectacle. I’m a sucker for pyrotechnics and even that wasn’t enough to save it for me.

Replay is the perfect example of what pisses me off about the stage… Gaga carries the whole number because the stage does nothing interesting. Not a bad thing since it’s one of my favorite moments of any concert I’ve been to, but thinking of what what could have been, had they put a lot more effort into the stage design/setup, that drives me crazy.

Here for the valid critiques but the only tour she ever changed wigs in was the ArtRave and that one was messy as **** :rip:

a set that didn’t make sense for the album, a piano that looked like roots on a barren B stage

this is easily debateable if you dissect the album and make the connections yourself

This just made me hate the stage even more. How Gaga still managed to make an excellent show with this C tier stage is a testament to her talent

Tell me about it. I bought nosebleeds with a horrible view at Fenway park. We could barely see anything on the screens thats how far right we were off the stage. We literally had to dance all night going up and down the stadium trying to have a good time.

Don’t drones have sound?

Drones make a lot of noise by themselves, so they're not a great source of audio.

Sneaky Oliver

Huge stages with no concept at all just for the sake of looking big in the pictures: yaaassss stadium tour yasss

CBT stage INTENTIONALLY built for an artistic vision and concept despite not being full of props and yet getting her one of the biggest female tours ever regardless of its simplicity: low budget, cheap stage

:flop:

Boring and basic and cheap and super simplistic aren't the terms you should use in a valid critique, especially since when you can't even look the other side of the coin and thought "oh, the reason for this might be because they want the focus to be Gaga" or maybe because of how concept X and Y is. You ruffled my feathers indeed by having the audacity to say it's a valid and rational critique :nails: The fact that your unnecessary so-called critique/valid comment is the first to appear in this thread is infuriating

Annoying how people call anything a critique this days and vice versa

For those who disliked the stage: move on with your lives, lmao.

Complex stages don't always equate to magnificent shows.

The stage was fine, IMO. The big screens with the visuals and the colors were cool. Making it complex with lots of props won't make any sense for the style they went with.

The focal point of the show was LG and LG alone.
