As a fan I hope she wins but I don't know, I wouldn't be super proud if she wins with that song (could never connect with it). And her winning the first Oscar was like yesterday...

that song had more impact that HMH.

I've never heard it anywhere, unlike Hold My Hand

IAW being the more successful song isn't any indication that it'll be nominated over HMH. The Oscars are all about artistic merit and HMH is the more lyrically impressive and emotional song, plus, it's a more acceptable length whereas IAW is so short, it's such a non-event. It's also about songs that seem epic and have presence, which HMH is all about. In cases where there were 2 big songs by big name artists on the same movie, remember that Love Me Like You Do was the biggest song from the 50 Shades movie but it was Earned It that got the Oscar nomination (it was successful too and had the same chart position but wasn't as successful worldwide nor did the video get as much success). It's all about what's the more impressive song from a lyrical point of view. If IAW gets nominated over HMH, there's something up. And for what it's worth, I don't think it's too early for her to win another Oscar. The next ceremony will be 4 years after her last Oscar win. If it was the very next year, I'd understand, but people have won Oscars in a much shorter span of time.
