My hunch is that the videos are Pt. 2 of the thing and the tour Pt. 3. So she’s going to do a drop of the videos to coincide with the ticket drop for the tour to have explosive hype on the visual aesthetic of the era and ride the wave into knockout seat sales. It seemed more like a Pt 1 because we're still undecided on what Pt 2 really is situation though. I mean, it reminds me more of ARTPOP than an intentional strategy. Was expecting the worse after reading the comments (yeah my mistake, never read GGD comments before watching a MV ) but I'd this is one of her best videos.
