Is the same thing. Taylor had 4 variants Gaga was selling 4 variants. Exactly the same thing. I don’t understand why everyone is coming for Taylor. Every artists has so many variants. Paramore is selling 7 variants.

it's not exactly the same thing though

those are just regular vinyls, a majority of fans of these artists will be fine with just one edition. only the small portion of fans within these fanbases go through the trouble of collecting every edition

the taylor ones combine all 4 to make a big clock which creates a lot more incentive for more fans to buy all 4

there's nothing wrong with that but it's true that it boosted sales as intended
