Honestly so many incredibly talented people work on some of these films, from set design, makeup, special effects, camera crew, music/scoring etc and they just get snubbed because sCaRy (and this is from someone who doesn't watch horror movies at all. But I can already tell from the few clips I've seen floating around that Midsommar, Hereditary and Pearl deserve major awards or at least noms) I'll be myself until they fĹŤcking close the coffin. monstertoronto 10,211 Posted October 22, 2022 Share Posted October 22, 2022 I watched this movie at TIFF so it hadnât been released yet and I hadnât read any reviews. I didnât know anything about it so I was truly surprised by the old fashioned style and the whole movie in general.  She was truly incredible in the movie and def is deserving of some recognition. But itâs horror and too small and too niche. It wonât happen unfortunately but she def was so good.  Such an unusual horror movie.
