Amazigh are the crossroads of Europe, Africa and the Middle East:

It's not the same thing at all and we will have to disagree on this.

I think what happens is that you are tired of people thinking Algerians, Tunisians etc are Middle Easters, not knowing North Africa is a different region of the world and lumping everything together without trying to learn about it. :oprah:

Nope, amazigh is a different people, pre-arab inhabitants with own language. For example in Algeria there's Kabyle, and in Morocco there are Rifs, Tachlihite, etc those are berbers, i don't know about tunisia or libya. We have our own language and own alphabets as well.

It's called tifinagh

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tifinagh

We have our own language for example the language I speak is from the south of morocco which differs from the north in Tanger/ Morocco but keeps soem words similar. Same with Kabyle, we are able to communicate amongst amazighs bcs we keep the same similar language.

Then there are moroccans who are not amazigh and have middle eastern in them they are not amazighs as I said, they talk Darija, which is moroccan arabic that even middle eastern cannot comprehend well lol

That's the truth about north africa, and in many ways amazigh culture is being suppressed and forgotten, so it's important for me for people to understand the differences.

I was very happy when Madonna wore amazigh/berber garments during a red carpet although some people mocked it because they didn't know it was amazigh culture, and it brought into the forefront the fact we exist!

I am not saying something different, although it's only fair to admit that the Middle East populations left an important impact on the genetics of Berbers. Berbers didn't live isolated from the Arabs, some Arab blood found its way into the Berbec genepool. Just like Fino-Ugric blood found its way into the Russian genepool, how Slav blood found its way into German genepool and how North African genes found their way into the Spanish genepool- which doesn't mean these populations became the same.

I don't have a skin in the game, I quoted above some geneticists who said most maternal DNA in Berbers comes from European and Near-Eastern sources.
