I was very happy when Madonna wore amazigh/berber garments during a red carpet although some people mocked it because they didn't know it was amazigh culture, and it brought into the forefront the fact we exist! I am not saying something different, although it's only fair to admit that the Middle East populations left an important impact on the genetics of Berbers. Berbers didn't live isolated from the Arabs, some Arab blood found its way into the Berbec genepool. Just like Fino-Ugric blood found its way into the Russian genepool, how Slav blood found its way into German genepool and how North African genes found their way into the Spanish genepool- which doesn't mean these populations became the same.
