"Thirty percent of Ukraine’s power stations have been destroyed in just over a week, leading to “massive blackouts” across the country, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday, as the Kremlin steps up attacks on critical energy infrastructure."

Obviously these attacks are textbook definition of war crimes, but unfortunately the world doesn't seem to care to do anything about it. The meaning of war crime doesn't matter anymore.

In the meantime, Russian media is asking to step up the attacks to include sewers systems so that Kyiv is covered in "****" which according to them would start an epidemic in Ukraine.

A side makes an escaladatory move, the other responds with another escaladatory move (you can have moral arguments on whether or not each side is justified, but in the eyes of the opponent Ukraine crossed a line when it destroyed the Kerch Bridge, therefore it responded with crossing another line). There is a gradual built up and I don't know to what it will lead to.

Imagine going back in time and saying to someone that Russia occupied 4 oblasts in Ukraine or that Ukraine hit targets in Russia (Belgorod, Kursk). We got here gradually so we are desensitized in a sense, but nonetheless this is not a conflict that will get better in time. :spin:
