I don‘t know how she did that but she did it. But the songs on Midnights are really really growing fast on me. I instantly loved Snow On The Beach. And You‘re On Your Own Kid, Mastermind, Anti-Hero, Labyrinth and Sweet Nothing. It‘s a great body of work and flows really well. I like the lyrics and the toned down sounds. It doesn‘t sound so overloaded? I don‘t know if it‘s the proper word for it. boiswifty 1,051 Posted October 20, 2022 Share Posted October 20, 2022 I caved in and listened to the whole alberm I am just gonna say that I WAS DISAPPOINTED at first listen because I wanted HARDCORE POP BANGERS BUT EACH SONG IS DEFINITELY A GROWER and now I love everything ....except Labyrinth LAVENDER HAZE- the slayage of this track is UNREAL This is something she hasn't done before for sure. The 'yeah oh yeah' part is a MAJOR BOP I LOVE THAT 10/10 MAROON- Where do I start? It's sensual, ethereal, beautiful, magical... the chorus....PERFECT Feels like you're drowning in a purple pink pastel glittery sky if you listen to it. 12/10 ANTI-HERO- can choke It's a bit mellow but still good. Chorus can choke. Beautiful lyrics. 7/10 SOTB- Beautiful. Wish Lana had more part. Beautiful. 8/10 YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN, KID- The last prolonged chorus is amazing A LITERAL GOOSEBUMP TRIGGER. Like I wanted to cry I was ****ing touched Taylor stop this slayage I CAN'T 9/10 MIDNIGHT RAIN- I jumped at the intro I was SHOOKD TO MY BONES The song sounds simple but the production made it SHINE QUESTION- I hated it on first listen but now I love it. It's cute and pretty. 8/10 VIGILANTE ****- This was where I SCREAMED INSIDE If LWYMMD and I Did Something Bad had a teenager rebel child. I AM SLAYED YET AGAIN Sounds like it belongs in reputation 10/10 BEJEWELED- moving on... LABYRINTH- zzz KARMA- a bop. Not necessarily dancey, but something one could work out to?
