Dennis 8,391
McCarthy vows to block further aid to Ukraine if republicans win back the house. Putin now has a very viable path to victory unfortunately. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/10/18/house-republicans-ukraine-mccarthy/
FATCAT 60,888
If anyone here was considering voting for a Republican down ballot, here's a reason not too. Republicans need to be stripped of power from top to bottom. This kitten over here (meow)

Maxine Puth 9,053
The problem with American politics is that the left wants to send billions of dollars of unlimited aid to Ukraine while the right wants to use that money to fund a wall… Where are the politicians that can aid foreign efforts and pull money to end homelessness, help communities that don’t get clean water, and aid those who are economically vulnerable here. What a **** show

What a **** show It's inconsiderate to compare whatever problems we have here in America or in the West to the suffering in Ukraine. Yes we may have inflation, yes we may have homelessness. But at the very least we don't have bombs raining over our heads. We don't wake up to air sirens every morning. We're not losing our loved ones to enemy invaders on a daily basis. Please don't try to compare our problems to other people that are suffering much worse. It comes off as selfish and inconsiderate. If anything this should be a reminder to everyone, to be thankful for what we have, basic things that we take for granted. In just one week, Russia destroyed 1/3 of Ukraine's electricity grid right now. It's good to strive for better conditions, but let's also not forget that many people have it much worse. You talk as if the democrats exclusively wanna fund Ukraine, just yesterday Biden started a student loan forgiveness program.

What a **** show The Left doesn't want to send unlimited aid abroad, they want to reign in military spending which is more than half of our yearly budget. They want to use that money to fund safety-net programs at home. But all of that is mute if Russia takes Ukraine & starts a campaign through Europe. Stopping Russia here ensures that we won't have to spend as much abroad. It's disingenuous to paint this as a both sides issue. bionic 50,111
Earlier this year he also said none of this would've happened under Trump, Biden should've acted sooner, and America wasn't doing enough to help. What a crook

I’m not sure how I implied that Americans have to worry about bombs flying over their heads. I’m saying that the article is ridiculous because republicans want to “focus on America” but then plan on spending billions on a wall. That’s not helping Americans. I also believe that we can help aid Ukraine and take care Of domestic issues (hence why I said where are the politicians that do both).
