With the creation of the newest Barbie, the toy company is paying homage to the singer on the 40th anniversary of her hit song, “What’s Love Got To Do With It”. Gaga's time will come. 40 years is an incredible accomplishment and Tina deserves all the love while she's still with us to receive it. She paved ways while it was nearly impossible to do so. Not Mattel/Barbie but Gaga did have her own line of dolls in the works many years ago but it was ultimately scrapped. (I don't remember why. I think it had something to do with MGA getting upset with gaga for taking too long to continue with the project or something along those lines.)
