It wasn’t Robin Schulz‘ fault. It was some sort of a PR stunt of his manager. He revealed this months ago.

Robin Schulz released the song featuring the original artist. They ripped southstar’s song, because HE stole large portion‘s of Oliver Tree‘s art WITHOUT permission.

His manager wanted to set an example how other people are stealing art.

No.

Here is what southstar had to say and put on his Instagram:

I took Jerk from Oliver

Tree becaused I loved the track, made it

"Miss You" and now

Robin Schulz stole my production.

Oliver is not to blame

@olivertree

______

#MissYou facts you should know:

my original release was on May 9th 2022

my new label SonyMusic cleared all rights with me and re-delivered the song to DSPs on July 30

- before Robin Schulz & his Team released his version of „MissYou" they never contacted me for a collaboration

Peace & love.

Back in August, southstar reacted to a comment I made on his IG via private message and he wrote me that the sample wasn’t cleared at this point. He wasn’t saying the truth publicly. He then deleted the messages very quickly.

Of course they never contacted him, because he stole someone else’s art. That’s the whole point.
