Kanye is doubling down on his recent controversial comments, using “more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes” in a taping of a new episode of the YouTube talk show Uninterrupted The Shop.

The producers behind The Shop, which is executive produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, have decided against airing the episode or revealing what West said.
In a statement Carter said, “Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes.”

The statement continues, “We have made the decision not to air this episode or any of Kanye’s remarks. While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate. I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.”

I wonder which of kanye's many 'hot takes' he raised here. Surely he wouldn't try to 'white lives matter' on that platform

People need to stop interviewing him. Not only is it exploiting mental illness It's giving him a platform to spread hate.

the interviews should stop but it won't "deplatform" him, that will be a decision he has to make himself (hopefully for the benefit of his kids and the future of their relationship)

Same. A part of me wishes it came out so people could see more of how he truly is, but then I remember the straights will never truly cancel him, so it's better this way.
