So she thought child support = alimony? It's not meant to support her lifestyle, it was meant to help through her son's living expenses. She should have gotten a job and paid for herself as well as some of her son's expenses. I feel like when mothers do this, child support should be reduced or the court should step in to make sure it's spent appropriately.
