Gayle's songs get 6k streams after she had one of the biggest TikTok hits

Gayle released her second EP "a study of the human experience volume two" with 3 new songs this Friday.
Her two new songs: ALEX and 15 received only about 6k streams on the first day (full day tracking).
"snow angels", which was added to playlists, received almost 145k streams.

in late 2021/early 2022 she had one of the biggest TikTok hits, which was receiving more than 5M streams daily on Spotify and has spent 28 days at #1 on Global Spotify chart. "ABCDEFU" peaked at number #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached number #1 in the UK, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland. It has received more than 815M streams since its release last August.

Abcdefu is like the most overplayed song ever on radio in my country I hate it now so much  definitely would not want to listen to her EP. Still I wish her good luck for her next project. The song that got some playlisting did decent numbers

I mean isn't it OBVIOUS that her other songs aren't as good as abcdefu... like how can artists release a song, expect success, when clearly the music isn't strong
