FfFfFfFF 58,357 Posted October 9, 2022 Share Posted October 9, 2022 In recent days, Ukraine continued to improve its positions in Kharkiv, fully liberating Borivsky District by 6 October, further capturing Podoly and Makiivka and the settlements of Kruhlyakivka and Stelmahivka. Ukraine's most recent advancements are pretty mild compared to its previous ones, meanwhile Russia captured Zaitsevo E of Bakhmut. In the vicinity of Donetsk, the Russians also managed to make marginal advancements in Pisky (https://deepstatemap.live/en#7/47.895/32.998). In recent days, the frontline in Kherson stabilized at Dudchany (recent rumors said Ternovy Pody and Lyumyrivka were back under the Ukrainians, but it was revealed Ternovy Pody is still under Russian occupation, overall no other important news came out from here). However, a major event which will affect the trajecotry of the war was the Kerch bridge explosion. If the bridge is made unusable, will make the Russian presence in Ukraine very vulnerable as the other viable (land) bridge linking Russia with Crimea goes through Melitopol/Mariupol and the Ukrainians are intersted in taking that area.
