Was it as great as the original? No, and there's no way it could've been. I was only four years old when the first one came out and I've had nearly three decades to build up nostalgia for it. But Hocus Pocus 2 has the same energy, humour and heart, and Bette Midler was clearly born to play Winnie Sanderson. Can't wait to watch it again on Halloween!
