Russian propaganda claims Moldova prepares for mobilization with Romania

New lies coming from Russian propaganda today.

The Defence Ministry of the Republic of Moldova said: "The information appearing in media sources from the Russian Federation, that the head of state, Maia Sandu, is preparing to announce military mobilization throughout the country - is false".

"The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is the one that declares mobilization at the proposal of the Supreme Security Council, and the President of the Republic of Moldova can declare, with the approval of the Parliament, partial or general mobilization. There is no state of siege in the Republic of Moldova and there are no prerequisites for declaring mobilization. We urge everyone to inform themselves only from credible and official sources. Together we prevent disinformation."

And a result of that! They know 6k Russian soldiers in Transnistria could be easily defeated by the neighbouring powers, as Russia already struggles to hold ground next to their borders while Transnistria is completely isolated from them. The paranoia kicks in.. 

More realistically Romania won't be getting involved as it is a NATO country, plus it needs Moldova's permission to get involved and Moldova is still clinging to the idea of ''neutrality'' (which means not pissing off Russia too much because the course of events can still change and Moldova will be Russia's first next target).
