In theory it could be good because it would put Ukraine in the NATO alliance with 30 countries. NATO is set up so if a third party attacks any country within the NATO agreement, other NATO countries would send their military to defend the one under attack. Putin is so wild though, he could ignore it and press harder. War is never good of course because it puts people’s lives at risk, but the sooner this can be over, the better.
