FfFfFfFF 58,060 Posted September 28, 2022 Share Posted September 28, 2022 In the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian Army made several gains in the east of the country: in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk. In Kharkiv, the Ukrainians crossed the Oskil river toward Luhansk and now regained control over the setlement of Kivsharivka. They also continued to make gains in the north of Donetsk oblast by liberating Novoselivka, Serednje, Nove, Zelena Dolyna and establishing a foothold E of Lyman. It seems that the city is close to being encircled and may fall sooner than later. If the city falls, the Russian positions in Luhansk region will be threatened and the regions opens up for a possible Ukrainian counter-offensive. The only area where the Russians enjoyed some success is the Bakhmut sector. In Kherson, the situation seems to remain mostly locked in a stalemate (that said, the Russians might have improved their positions in Lyubymivka - vilage not far from the Dnieper river - according to Deep State map).
