Levine 23,958 Posted September 24, 2022 Share Posted September 24, 2022 After 24 years on the ATP Tour, with 20 Grand Slam titles and 103 tournament wins worldwide to his name, Roger Federer decided to retire from tennis. During a tribute to Federer, Ellie Goulding sung while a montage of the Swiss’ career was shown in the area. The cameras panned to Federer and Nadal, who were both in tears. Federer and Nadal have been ‘rivals’ throughout their tennis career as they battled for Grand Slams every year. Nadal has since surpassed Federer’s tally with 22 to his name but greatness recognised greatness in a beautiful moment.
