Maxine Puth 9,053
Genres: Rock, Alternative, Singer / Songwriter Themes: Acceptance, Music as a source of healing, finding love Collaborations: Alecia Keys, Sting Description: While Gaga’s 2016 album Joanne showed glimpses of her “stripped back” side, it refused to stray too far from her previous 4 pop records, providing fans familiar dance and pop outlets in songs like “John Wayne” and “Perfect Illusion.” With her 7th studio album, Lady Gaga makes the bold decision of shedding her electronic pop image entirely. Inspired by 90s/00s alternative rock and legend artists of the Singer/Songwriters genre (such as Carol King), Gaga shares a large resemblance to her former “Red and Blue” self; shifting between alternative rock band vocalist and soulful piano crooner with ease. Inspirations: “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes “Criminal” by Fiona Apple “Closing Time” by Semisonic “You’ve Got A Friend” by Carol King Also idc if it’s impossible, Captivated is on the album
HotLikeMexico 5,236
Who TF sad reacted this?? Tho I’d want more a hard rock album for LG7, this actually sounds like a really good idea. Especially with the inspo songs listed.
ThatsGossip111 263
I’m 100% here for this! I love the collabs too. It’s funny, I listened to captivated the other night and was thinking how much I’d love for her to either bring that song back or create another song with a similar style. I think I stopped back album would be perfect, especially if she wants to put an album out and not tour it. Or she can tour it but have it be more of a stripped back show in theatres. Ugh the possibilities!

Right, this sounds like a great idea and I would LOVE it but I would also love some harder rock! I've been listening to "Safari Song" by Greta Van Fleet and I would do ANYTHING to have LG7 sound like it. It pops TF off, listen to the bridge and I can totally picture her belting it out! Honestly I’d prefer a hard rock album by her too, give me Motley Crue and stripper rock vibes. But I love imagining all the genres she may do
