She speaks the language with a latin american accent? Genuine questions because I don't speak Spanish and that it interesting to me since she's from the UK. I thought in Europe most people speak the way ppl speak in Spain, or at least they teach it this way.

I'm also a bit familiar with how latin spanish sounds, because some of my friends at the time were from Chile, Argentina and Colombia. Each country has their own accent I suppose. I'm not sure where Dua learned spanish, because she pronounces the c like an s so I suppose she's learning the latin spanish? Wouldn't immediately call her Trilingual. But she confirmed it herself and that was cute. Yeah it’s very basic. She just has decent pronunciation and is speaking confidently. building a daydream

She also said "su amor y su energía", meaning she's usins the formal "ustedes" form to address the public, which is more common in Latin America. Even with that, most foreigners in Spain can't/don't pronounce the "c" and "z" as most Spaniards do, they pronounce them as "s" when they speak Spanish, like Latin Americans do. It's what we call "seseo", and even some parts of Spain, like Canary Islands, do this too. I'm curious, did you pronounce those letters as Spaniards folks do or did you pronounce them as "s"? Yeah right.. the "ustedes" was always something that I found strange until I learned that they use it very often casually. I have experienced that in Spain this is only used when you speak very formal with people you don't know and wanna show respect. We have the same in german btw (although in Germany you usually always call people "usted/ustedes" if you dont know them. I have found that in spain people are more casual and hardly ever use it. That's just my experience though I pronounce it with a proper "th" sound, because it's what I've been taught. I've lived in the "comunitat valenciana" (although they also speak valenciano there which I hated btw lol) THEY CALL ME LADY MOP

No offense to the Americans, but it is what is it most of the cases. When you’re in Europe and the countries are the size of states and right beside each other, then yes, it is more necessary to speak more than one language.
