No one can objectively look at what Britney shares and come to the conclusion that she's well. This video is so sad. I am a huge Britney fan and I wish she'd get the help she needs on her own terms. But something is obviously stopping that from happening. We don't know what that is but something isn't right and I'll never stop believing that. She’s literally going to therapy. Being controlled and medicated for over a decade of course she’s not gonna mentally be all there yet. she’s doing this stuff because she finally can. She can finally be open, she can finally say what she wants, she can finally show her emotions, she can finally be free with everything and anything. this is way healthier than having her bottle it all up again
Shipper 12,924
While it is unconventional to have your deepest thoughts and feelings released in social media, we have to acknowledge she also did not have a conventional childhood nor most of the freedom we have in the last decade. She has always been in the limelight. If she finds comfort in making videos like this and speaking her truths in social media, then she can. We can block her if we think it is too much, if it is cringed or if we don't want to see it. I feel the same way for my parents using facebook and posting small embarrassing cringey details of life and their condition yin there. While personally I don't like what they post, I let them be and just don't use Facebook no more. They are retired, homesick, and battling various illnesses, and if that helps them be happier and stay connected to relatives then I let them be. We all cope with our mental health issues differently. And as long as she isn't hurting or threatening anyone in social media then we should let her be. It is not our responsibility to send her anywhere as we do not personally know her not can we actually do anything behind our screens than criticize her. 💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕📦💕
Guest
Her face shows intense pain and it's impossible not to shed a tear. I feel for her, I wish I could give her a hug but not sure that would fix anything. The loneliness and pain she must feel is something I don't know many people could understand. To have your kids not want to see you, your family abusing you/not loving you, your ex husband taking advantage, and this is it, it's your life. Who do you turn to? Honestly, who do you love? Who loves you? She's all alone tbh, i think it must get to her everyday. Just scares me that this heaviness could be her downfall one day. She's not okay but she has been abused by psychologists and doctors, I can't expect her to see another one, I hope so tho
Stephen 30,333
She's such a pure spirit. I really think dancing is spiritual for her. It's amazing that she even wants to dance at all after being their dancing slave for 13 years.

Yes, it was. A lot of outlets (and some people here) try to make out like she's having another breakdown for expressing herself.

It means she's healing. She's doing the right thing by letting her emotions out and not bottling things up. She deserves to do a lot of venting after suffering 13 years of abuse. It makes me so happy to see her on the road to recovery. Also, it's great to see she's keeping fit physically. After what she's been through she could easily have gone down the depression road and just ate and slept all the time. She's so strong, omg. I live outside the space time continuum. LaLuna 12,732
Look, I don't know her personally. It's not my place to judge whether she's well or not. All I can say is that crying is a very healthy thing. Sometimes I'll start crying for no reason, it just means that there's something in me that needed to be released. No big deal. Also dancing/moving can be very cathartic. Not only that, but I'd say after all she's been through, a good cry is perfectly natural. Holding everything in, now that's not natural. With that said, if she is indeed not okay, then I have faith she'll get the help she needs from people she trusts.

StrawberryBlond 14,305
Crying when hearing emotional lyrics and having them relate to you is a feeling I know well. It's easy for an outsider to see that and think it's excessive just because they're not the kind to do that. We deal with emotion in different ways and releasing it like this can be cathartic. We fear crying but feel so much better after we do it. Unfortunately, in Britney's case, any show of emotion from her will result in accusations that she's headed for another breakdown. The reality is someone leaving the kind of control she was under will experience feelings of inexplicable sadness from time to time, it may take years to get over and it would be more worrying if they were completely stoic. It's better to have too much emotion than not enough. Britney's in that tough post-recovery place where she's trying to navigate life as a grown adult who's never experienced independence as she's had people taking care of her and doing things for her her whole life. It's natural that some of her self-expression may come across odd and concerning but it's all part of the healing process. I wish her every happiness as she forges ahead on this path to inner peace. holy scheisse 21,740
Crying is healing and so is dancing and movement and music and writing and therapy and Britney’s been doing all that. Y’all should read the body keeps the score to learn about how much movement is important in healing trauma and maybe you would look at this as a healing moment rather than a crazy one
dit 46,158
this is actually really moving. she's an artist through and through after all. Also I love that song by Indila. I hope Indila sees this...she's a really sweet person and I'm sure she'd be moved too. I really hope we get to see Britney on a big stage dancing from her soul like this. It would be a really emotional moment.
