LGBC is an album  and you said era not album. ASIB was an era with all the red carpets, promo, and major televised performances. #1 movie, #1 hit with an Oscar and the album won multiple Grammys. ARUTW became a moderate hit and INLA won a Grammy as well.

To me the 2 stunning performers of this generation are Gaga and Beyoncé.

Katy 's underrated but I would place her a few notches underneath.

Folks like Ari and Doja also are already great and still have a lot of potential as performers imo...

Both of them are great in their own way!  No matter what people would say, Katy is still one of the pop stars who shaped late 2000's and early 2010's pop scenes, along with Gaga and many others, so it's sad that fans in this forum discredit her impact and thrash her later works, and then gets compared to Gaga later on when surely both would be displeased to hear so if ever.

right? Gaga is the GP’s darling right now idk. she’s still very relevant, Chromatica streams were great, her acting career is just getting bigger, she’s still in her moment no matter what some people say. :3

but why exclude ASIB songs tho? they were huge hits and the movie was very successful. I’m talking about Gaga still being popular and relevant even if her songs aren’t spending 10+ weeks on billboard hot 100. also, I’m sure a lot of people know Rain on Me, it has more than 800mil streams on Spotify alone, and our fanbase isn’t a kpop one (like BTS or Blackpink), where most of the streams are coming from the dedicated fans who stream songs 24/7 nonstop.

Katy's first few albums (the ones with the songs written by Bonnie McKee) were excellent. Gaga is on an entirely different level in 2022, though. They can't compare.
