Britney clears up post about Christina Aguilera and apologizes

By no means was I being critical of Christina’s beautiful body, it is what it is !!! I flew to see her show once and the main thing I noticed was the difference of our people on stage !!! By no means did I even mention Christina, look at my post !!! I was inspired by her show and she is a beautiful woman of power … Thank you @xtina for inspiring me !!! 

To be honest, I’m not trying to be critical of anybody. What I posted is a projection of the insecurities I deal with all the time as a result of how my parents and the media have treated me … I would never intentionally body shame anybody because I know what it feels like … I struggle with this because of how I feel about myself, not because I hate how anybody looks … I feel like my family knew I was insecure and people were trying to purposefully feed into this insecurity by not letting me have a choice in the people who were on stage with me. I appreciate you all being understanding with me as I figure out this new life I’m living !!!

this seriously breaks my heart. people need to remember she’s only just got her freedom back AND is dealing with so much trauma that she’s repressed for years due to the abuse she faced; political correctness/PR training is probably the last thing on her mind. but with that said im happy she cleared things up!!

This.  back when she was stepping into the spotlight, in the late 90s and early 2000's, things were extremely different and body shaming was hardly anything spoken about.

Britney has a lot to catch up on and a lot of growth and healing to do.  We can be patient and supportive to her.

As far as i understood  she was talking about Xtina's dancers heights compared to hers. 

And if not, i think people should give her more leniency knowing what she went through and dealing with her own mental illness

This woman has no mean bone in her body. It was obvious from the start what she meant, Xtina fans were just blowing this up knowing this is one of the few times she would be relevant again.
