Canada To Host World's First Gita Hindu Park Outside India

And it's in my city (Brampton) ... Which also happens to be Canada's Indian Capital of which Indians are by far the largest immigration base (in very large chunks of the city they even outnumber Canadians + every other immigrant background combined)

 

The 90 acre Gita Hindu Park will feature Hindu statues

 

Fun fact, Canada's Left Wing NDP Party Leader is Indian and also is from Brampton and it is the city the last Indian Prime Minister chose to visit when they came to Canada

Seems a bit weird to have a park based on a single religion to be honest. If we are going to have one for one religion, perhaps we should also have one for the Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Jews, and others?

I mean it's not like they are making some push to have these all over the place. It's literally going to be the ONLY one outside India

 

Given this city is so overwhelmingly Indian Dominant with such a big sizable part of them also being Hindu, its not an odd place to have one

 

Just like other religions have had their landmark spots such as Notre Dame (I don't know how to spell it) or whatever this would be a sort of landmark for them I guess

 

It's not like they going around the world saying we want parks for our religion. This is one specific special spot
