Monarchy is anachronistic, conservative, undemocratic and a parasitic system of privileged rich people, and should have no place in civilised xxi countries.

You gotta admit though: At least monarchy is honest. You know it's inherited wealth, there's no disingenous concealing of coming from a priviliged background. I'd rather deal with any symbolic King (that's nothing more than a mascot) than with any of the current billionaire aristocracy, who all came from old money and pretend like they didn't, that hold actual power and destroy the planet for their monetary gain :chica:

It’s sad we won’t see another woman have the highest title in our lifetime

If you manage to kill King Charles, Prince William and Prince George. The head of state will be Princess Charlotte, but that's when she turns 18 which will be in 2033.

Icon H&M The Queen who survived though taxes and slave trade money has never acknowledged , apologised, or compensated the atrocities of British empire and royal family’s actions , like the bengal famine that caused the death of millions , concentration camps In Kenya , genocide, looting. Her crown has stolen jewels from Africa and India. But she is le moment and let’s be respectful and forget all this

Anyone hear what actually took her? Purple hands is all I heard.

Sorry, but I consider the UK a democracy. Not sure why this one family still dresses up and parades around like royalty. :nails:

I guess if you are in the royal family, keep on keeping on with the charade. I'm also a annoyed by the whole Megan Markle saga and how she was/was not received.  It turned me against the royals, tbh.

This has zero to do with Roe v Wade or American politics? He has been next in line for the throne for 70 years, 20 years before Roe v Wade was even a thing.

Beyonce is already the queen of the world, the operation for when she die "Queen Bee Crushed" will start with Obama receiving the news and then communicating it to Jay Z and family, after that former president of the US will receive the news and will communicate it to the rest of the presidents of the world which will declare days of mourning in each country, the hollywood sign will turn of its lights, is when everybody will known the news, at this moment Becky with the good hair will rise as the new queen and the beyhives will receive free special mental healthcare

Then the signal split in two the sound created stars like me and you✨️

The problem with this is that you're embodying the same attitude you're ridiculing.

I recognize the harm caused by imperialism (half of my own family descends from Indians who were affected by the British Raj). But there's so many more layers to the Queen in the UK than just colonialism and imperialism, which was peacefully abandoned during the Queen's reign.

For me as an example, the Queen was a symbol of my own late grandparents. They admired her stability and her duty to pull through difficult events and show support for other people, even before she became Queen. It's a very similar affinity and sense of inspiration to what people feel for Gaga or any pop icon.

She did actually attempt to reconcile for imperial legacy. She visited Ireland a few years ago and shook hands with a former IRA commander. This was a really powerful moment given the conflict in Ireland and her own relative was assassinated by the IRA.

I don't expect you to agree (and on some areas I agree with your points) but respect is a really powerful thing and can do so much for healing in the present day.
