Expect him to follow precedence. I....wouldn't believe someone who has to declare to the world that they aren't stupid when they say they're not stupid personally but maybe that's just me. He may liberal leaning and forward thinking (for his station anyway) but no one who's even here for Charles as king is under the impression that man is the most brilliant person to ever sit on the throne. But it's clearly quite upsetting to the people who're going to be most effected by this directly, who are being thrown into a state of upheaval for the next two weeks that neither you or I will have to endure to have that be the only convo happening.
