I remember thinking the same after I seen them a few years ago.  I prefer their earlier music, even though I know that’s a bit of a cliche to say now

to yall saying they're not good live... lol big disagree I saw them in 2014 and they were INCREDIBLE

I am SUPER excited for this new album, this song is absolutely gorgeous and I love that they're building on the sounds they started to explore with TBH&C

also... this better not turn into "i like their old music better" thread. your tumblr era is over lol they've grown so much as a band and their music is evolving & aging like the finest wine.
