knee 276 Posted January 25, 2023 Share Posted January 25, 2023 Just FYI: part of my initial apprehension of remastering the footage was due to work commitments and the fact I'd need to download and combine the various parts of the footage. The YouTube video above is rly helpful as the above is now done - I've downloaded it in 4K, plan is to attempt to remaster the audio with the HQ nativity of the monster files (only during the music, not speaking parts etc) then run it through Topaz AI, deinterlacing and if possible some level of upscale. The absolute best and free way is to use a program called “ffmpeg”. The catch is that you run it in command line/terminal so there’s a bit of a learning curve.
