The Chromatica Ball truly feels like the ball is back in Gagas court (*knock on wood everyone*). Like a certain validation after years of having to prove herself yet again. Born This Way Ball was the first realization that Gaga is a superstar, not a superhuman. ARTAVE was Gaga clinging to life. Cheek to Cheek was the first step in a long healing journey, Joanne World Tour was like a subtle reintroduction to Lady Gaga, and a “coming out” of the intense trauma she has faced. Enigma was Gaga cementing herself and creating a space where she could play. The Chromatica Ball feels different.. It feels like her superstar powers are back. There’s the sold out shows, the incredible showmanship, the absolute FIRE (literally and figuratively). It feels like a mature Gaga who knows her boundaries, and is willing to create magic within them.
