It’s giving folklore, intimate homey teas. 13 songs about specific nights when she couldn’t sleep and write a song about it. I can’t imagine these midnight songs being pop bangers, it’s going to be to another soothing collection. Folklore became the record that helped me get to sleep during the pandemic (and that’s not shade, I was so stressed during that time I couldn’t sleep and folklore was the only thing that calmed me down enough to sleep. I love that album so much. Chromatica helped me too but not in the middle of the night because it just made me want to get out of bed and dance). Maybe midnights will be similar.
