HBO is/was the pioneer in more interesting content, pushing the social envelope. Sad so sad

I love how anything that's not straight white cis is considered "left wing." It really tells you all you need to know about the right.

Doesn't diverse content generate more profit? And isn't money what they're after?
Also, fortunately, HBO is now part of but still relatively independent from HBO Max.

HBO Max is Warner Streaming service, HBO is part of Warner, it’s all just Warner.

The way this will destroy HBO all together

HBO has always been reviled by conservatives and right-wing pundits for its sexual, violent, and provocative content. I can’t see them suddenly wanting to run for support when they’ve historically trashed HBO for decades.

I'm gonna binge all the legendary shows I have yet to see, from The Sopranos to GOT, from Insecure to Veep and when my €4 a month subscription gets terminated because of this reorganization, they won't see me back again.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

It's Warner Discovery, and the new part here is Discovery, who unfortunately are the ones in charge now. They've been trash for a long time.

HBOMax will cease to exist a year from now and all the current originals will be folded into HBO. They’ve also stated they don’t plan on developing any scripted shows for their new streaming service (they will only be developed for cable HBO) and instead focus on what they deem as the more $uccessful side which is unscripted reality. Everyone knows reality tv is dirt cheap to produce unless you’re paying contracts like Real Housewives (which Discovery exploits the lower middle class and does not pay them accordingly) so obviously this is a cost cutting measure. They value their Discovery side and don’t really care about the content they received in the merger whatsoever.

HBO Max went from the best streaming service of the market to one of the worst real quick huh :bear:

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
