As usual, she sounds deranged. However, she’s a mainstay in the NYC house music scene so it makes sense that she thinks this album is watered down for white consumption. What do you guys think? :partysick:

I mean I can’t comment on the race aspect but I thought it was really underwhelming listening to a few songs

She is bitter that she was name dropped as an inspiration but not contacted to be on it.

Everything she says is for attention, really no point giving it to her anymore :ladyhaha:

If Gaga wasn't discussing diversity Banks would say she's a white woman who dgaf but since she does it's just phony "PR statements". Damn if you do, damn if you don't.

Also Bey didn't want to just to show ballroom culture but black queer club music in it's diversity so it's great if she brought the countryside with Freeda in it too.

Now for Kelis idk if she knew she would use her hit without paying her properly because of the whole pharell unpaid royalties drama...

And someone can make a joke that she didn’t need to be contacted to be on it :coffee:

I kinda agree with what AB is saying though. Renaissance will be forgotten in a few years. Nothing about it really stands out despite the widespread acclaim. Lemonade, on the other hand, is a good album.

Not her saying "she could've done futuristic beats instead of cliché vogue crashes" when that's literally all Azealia's music is, just a bunch of dated 90's house beats :ladyhaha: Anyway Queen Bey stays unbothered

It's the way she's been trying to come for gaga for a few months now unwarranted I find it quite strange and problematic in my opinion.

The way gaga stays minding her business killing it on her sold out tour and this gigless keypad warrior decides to drag her into mess that doesn't even concern her.

She's such a woman hater, everytime a female artist is having their moment,  she tries to put a damper on it by raising baseless critisms of their character and work. She  repeatedly did it to Rihanna ,lana , gaga and now beyonce etc.

she has such a way with words :rip: i disagree with her here but this is when we separate the art from the artist

I mostly agree with AB in this moment. I do usually agree with her takes about music like this. But it’s not because she’s so so clever. She just said it as it is; that Beyoncé is kinda phony, but she plays the commercial game very well to come across as authentic.
