I am trying so hard to get into this era because while I have been very frustrated with Demi in the last few years, I do believe in her talent. 

However, I just don't feel like there's much soul in this. For her origins to be in a pop-rock/pop-punk vein, she doesn't feel very connected to these songs. It feels at times very costumey and as if it's just a collection of ticked boxes for what a pop-punk song should sound like. 

I'll still give the album a shot, but so far nothing has really made me desperate for its release.

i feel quite the opposite

she is just being pressured i think by their label
