Lol, if we’re going to mock Taylor Swift for releasing four different versions of Willow, Beyoncé should as well for releasing 5 remixes of Break My Soul

Rooting for Bey to snatch this but why does she sabotage herself by releasing the cliquebait instead of the music video? She obviously wants that #1?

Maybe to prove a point that #1 is attainable without a viral MV. :ally:

a viral MV would be better than dropping all these random mixes of the song :ally:

When BMS goes #1 and it motivates Bey to push Alien Superstar hard as the next single. Yup. Yup!

This definitely shows Alien Superstar and Cuff It should be the singles. I really hope the rumor about Summer Renaissance is not true, or gets changed.

Adele did it even as a third single with Set Fire to the Rain

If she gets #2 25 years into her career that is still a massive feat for a female pop star.

I would be happy for whoever gets the #1 but having a #1 isn't really s factor anymore. So many massive hits in the last 5 years haven't reached #1. I mean, it used to happen before (Bad Romance) but now, especially, the value of a #1 is minimum compared to longevity and playlisting. ARUTW wasn't even a huge hit on the charts, yet it's one of the most memorable songs of the last 5 years.

Gaga never released those remixes when her song was fighting to hit #1 so this statement makes no sense :ally:

But it wouldn’t make sense not to seize the occasion and help the song reach #1 either when she has “the power” to do so :vegas:

At the end of the day, it’s still a business.

We don’t really need to talk too much, show each other what we know 🦋

About Damn Time is way more radio-heavy than I thought... As soon as stations start shuffling it to secondary rotation, it's going to slideeee

The fact that she is now releasing remixes for the extra streams and releases so many it becomes sad, where Gaga was not

this is literally why remixes are made: to boost sales and get more streams/audiences/fans ...
