I really think he's ok tbh. I don't dislike him as much as many other Canadian members here do. 

 

I think it all comes down to the fact that anytime a politicians has been in charge for a while, people will always focus on the problems that they still haven't fixed and ultimately always start to hate them even if other politicians wouldn't necessarily have been any better

 

My biggest disappointment with him is not being more agressive with the housing crisis cuz from an economic perspective and social perspective that's what's hurting Canada the most. Some plans have been layed out but not agressive enough

 

But he hasn't done anything wrekless... And some stuff like $10/day childcare (process isn't finished yet), some enhancements in social safety nets, higher prescription coverage and his positive rehtoric in cultural diversity have all been positives for Canada. To act like he's been some really bad politician I think is really unfair

 

Also Canada did more for Covid income support than just about any other Nation. Suddenly ppl forget stuff like that and just bash him

Yeah tbh that's how I feel about Biden. I mean, don't get me wrong, he's kind of a joke  and he was definitely NOT my first (or second, or tenth) choice, I didn't even think he would make it far in the Democratic Debates. He's not very well spoken and I didn't really connect with him when he speaks. He's just ... Nice. That's it. I would obviously choose him over Trump ANY day of the week, but we basically knew when Biden was elected that nothing radical would happen (like Bernie and AOC got us worked up for student loan forgiveness and many other MUCH needed changes for this hell hole of a country) but at least with Biden, imo, things aren't getting worse like with Trump. 

I think Biden is being blamed for a lot of the after effects of the pandemic like the economy, gas prices, inflation, etc. Do I think he's a great president? Absolutely not. But do I trust him to be professional and diplomatic when representing our country around other foreign leaders? 100%. 

It's complicated and I really don't like him as a leader but it's what we were handed after the SH!T SHOW of the Trump "presidency"

Yes and he admitted he was wrong and immature for doing that

 

I'm not one to be judging ppl for what they did 20 years ago. By those standards no one could be a good politician ud always find something bad or questionable. It's just a matter of whether it's public knowledge or not

That's how I see Biden too

 

He's not all that great or bold but he's isn't awful either and he's getting blamed for a lot of stuff that's outside his control.

 

It's not his fault the pandemic happened or that the war is happening and in turn the consequences of it. It is what it is. Every Country is gonna feel it
