Why is she still going 😭 they literally said they will shoot her down if she does (which is likely talk buy why risk it). This country has the third biggest nuclear arsenal in the world, why are we playing with fire...

And I feel awful for the ppl of Taiwan who will suffer so much if God forbid a war were to start over this

I also think she should just skip it. It's not like this visit is crucial for the livelihood of Taiwanese people, it's nothing. It will be a weird hill to die on, but I get it, she wants to send the message that China doesn't have "the right" to exert control over the Pacific past this string of American-aligned territories (Taiwan, Japan, Phillipines, South Korea). 

If she goes it's either that the Chinese will back down and do nothing or we are in the countdown to WW3.  But I don't feel like something grand is coming, it just all feels too ordinary of a day.

I've been following Gaga's work since 2010, I really like her music, some personal views I don't.

Until now, I refrained from commenting, but I have to get involved, at least to try to make people aware. Maybe I give myself too much importance, but the single-mindedness of the West has been bringing unrest for decades.

You only follow your media, you write comments about news about which you have no knowledge. You create an image, ie the illusion of a free world, and the world around you is burning. People are suffering, we have never had it worse than how we are writing history. Wars, pandemics, hunger, hatred. Everywhere and constantly. The fact that there is no shooting in the US or the UK at the moment, does not mean that it will not, unfortunately, reach you. Stop blindly pushing everything you read on TV. Stop imitating the "elite" from Insta or tiktok. If we want to survive as a race, we need to think more.

With what purpose.

I am neither pro-Russia nor pro-China.

And whose fault is this? Russia doesn't have any responsability in "the world burning"? I would say NATO did bad things in regards to Serbia but to say everything is because of the West and nobody else is simply delusional.

Of course, I'm not just referring to the West. And of course, Serbia also has blood on its hands.

I am saying that nothing is as black and white as it is presented and served to us. That it is up to young people more than ever before to come to their senses, to see in which direction those who rule our country are pushing us. Not those whom we "elect", but those who, regardless of party, implement a policy of hatred, destruction and war.
