FfFfFfFF 58,359 Posted July 28, 2022 Author Share Posted July 28, 2022 Being the messanger for moderation for a bit, but not ceding any territory implies not renouncing rights over Crimea and eventually assuming the option to take it back militarily. The issue comes when one factors in that Crimea was formally annexed into the Russian Federation and from Russia's perspective it became an integral and unalienable part of its lands covered by Russia's nuclear doctrine. You may say Ukraine is 100% free to do the decisions it wants regarding its territory, at the same time Western countries have a saying into sending military aid or not.
