Roughhouse Dandy 9,562
Lol I feel so bad for the gays that can't let themselves enjoy this album bc it's about to stay playing on the dance floor, in their favorite drag queens' performance sets, ballroom routines, dance videos, and tik tok videos 🥳 Happy Renaissance Day This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss. A different kind of house from Renaissance, however. Let's not pretend it isn't just because it has pop flavor in it and just because they are comparing Renaissance with Chromatica. I swear if some people says Renaissance is REAL house then Jesus Christ I'd say the critical difference is that Chromatica brings in more pop whereas Renaissance brings in a bit more hip hop flair. They both have house. Like. Who is listening to Alice or Babylon and not hearing the house inspo
sarcamstic 1,559
being honest… this is PRECISELY the sound of dance/house/disco album i envisioned & wanted gaga to record i am totally enthralled by RENAISSANCE 10/10 from me flying like 1000 birds

atemybrain 1,857
I haven’t even finished the album because it just got so boring and repetitive for me. There are NO HOOKS at all. Melodies are really lacking too. I guess I was just actually expecting a disco/house record, but this feels like basic Beyoncé to me. Like most of this sounds like Apesh*t, The Gift, or any other trap-pop today with maybe a little house sprinkled in some places. My friend said it sounds like she’s sitting in the Caribbean somewhere…Like I wanted to love this album so badly, but it’s just not doing much for me. I like a few songs though, so at least I have that.

LOL …Better question is , do YOU know what house is ? Or do you think renaissance is a house record because a month ago house music became a trending word because of BMS? Like y’all really need to drop this whole “you only think Chromatica is house” like girl have you been to a gay club ever ? You really think we’ve never heard house untill Chromatica …lol and no chromatica is not a House record

Epione 10,896
Wasn’t expecting much and she didn’t deliver. But Energy and I’m That Girl are nice.
Karl 3,269
Much more eclectic than I expected, love the different genres we have on here including afrobeats and more soulful dancefloor bangers. Whoever thought she was gonna do basic main pop girl pop dane, I mean it's Beyonce she's known for soul and R&B with pop elements why would she dilute herself like that. Mars 1,986
Renaissance and Chromatica are both Dance records with House influences, I don't get why everyones arguing over this. What I feel is lacking, and IF were have to compare, is that at least for me Chromatica takes you on a personal lyrical journey, it has flesh and bones but with Renaissance I find the lyrics kind of lack any importance or any message to hone in on. She's saying a whole bunch of nothing which is surprising because Lemonade was powerful in its words.

sillynate 6,170
I love how some songs flowed into the next but it wasn’t just a riser at the end of song one then reverse it for the start of song two. Like the production would carry over from one to the next. Cuff it and Energy come to mind but I know there were more and the song BloodPop did, at the end she’s saying she’s all up in your mind then All Up In Your Mind starts right after. It’s so dope
