Seeing Adele in concert will set you back a few hundred dollars at minimum, but her Las Vegas residency is already commanding prices above $40,000 per seat.

Tickets for the first night of her rescheduled residency, titled Weekends With Adele, are going for between $600 to $41,280 on the ticket reseller platform Stubhub. As of 5:30 p.m. New York time Monday, there were two tickets priced at $41,280 each, with the promise that both people will be seated together. At least six other ticket tiers were available for $20,000 each or more. Tickets are not currently available at Ticketmaster.

The last-minute ticket marketplace Gametime was selling opening-night tickets for as much as $7,003 for one seat. Matthew Rados, the company’s associate director of product operations, said the spike in ticket prices can partially be attributed to the show’s postponement.

“Adele is one of the most popular artists in the world and does not put on many live performances,” he said. “This is the fundamental reason why there's so much demand for these shows.”

A Jan. 19 report from ABC affiliate KGTV, one day before the initial show was postponed, said a ticket for her residency’s opening night was on sale for $43,988.

Adele could easily surpass Madonna as the biggest female touring act of all time if she wanted to :air:

Why would anyone ever pay this much for a concert :awkney: Even 600 is way too much

Soft, soothing, and succulent

I thought this meant that she gained just 41K from tickets sales after the announcement :rip:

Now I’m more curious though.. how is this show gonna be? No river and a bridge is worth this :rip:

It’s definitely just people putting up insane prices hoping the tickets will sell, but they won’t. I remember when Gaga’s tickets for the Joanne tour in NYC first went on sale, some were trying to resell theirs for like $20k

I HATE SCALPERS WITH A PASSION

This is one of the few things in life that actually make me see red

Scalpers have completely ruined live entertainment for us

You can't even buy more than 3-4 tickets at a time for most shows now, meaning you can't get seats together if you're going in a bigger group

I wish every scalper out there a very DEATH

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

The worst thing about that news is the the way they list the reasons to justify those high prices like it’s acceptable and normal. An absurd.

She’s not worth seeing for that much. :laughga:

Don’t play with me, it just hurts me.
