Brazilian Monsters try to attract Gaga to Brazil!

There's a strategy at play here.

Gaga's team don't want her oversaturating the areas that would smash during a bigger tour whilst promoting an album without the hurdle of a pandemic.

Imagine "For the first time in (12) years.. Lady Gaga comes to Brazil for one night only!"

Maracaña Stadium can hold 210,000 people. Standard capacity would be about 90k. They'd never fill a 50k stadium if she went each year. By making it a rare event I'd say she could pack a stadium with 100k for one night.

It's all strategy.

Let's just agree that "world tours" are just not what they used to be in general.

Artists used to tour like 2 yearswith different legs and more than the US and Europe. These days, tours take like 3 months lol.

I get it has an impact on your life but it's part of the job and honestly the least you could do to thank people buying your work and making you able to live wealthy....

Note that this isn't just about Gaga but about artists in general!

I'd have to disagree, it's mainly pop solo artists that do that. And even then, artists like Rosalia, Dua and Harry styles are touring Latin America.

Bands still have full blown, long, actually worldwide tours, look at Coldplay's,  Maneskin's and most metal band's current tours for reference.

if you are from “here” you should know temperature drops to around 40° Fahrenheit in the winter. and stadiums should have A/C.

Im from the north part of Brazil, so it's crazily hot all the time the whole year :deadbanana:

I honestly have no clue who Rosalia is.

As for Dua, it's her biggest tour that's correct but she's only at her second studio album. I bet her future tours will be way shorter.

As for Maneskin, 67 shows is still quite a bit shorter than 85.

EGOT2027

would it work weather wise to add dates from like feb-may (after joker) for mexico, south america, south africa, new zealand, australia, and a few more places in asia and maybe a few more in europe too ?? she could honestly do it in 15-20 dates if they were willing to find all the moving around

Zilla

I mean maybe now since she’s saying that she’s pain free, maaaaybe they could do it. I mean back then she could barely do a show so if she can get through this tour, she can go? I mean idk but they don’t deserve another set of “Brazil im devastated” tweets

Gaga would easily sell out that stadium in Brazil. She should do it.

Shoe would most likely sell out more than one show

It has been 10 years already, she could use that strategy with this tour :iamfair: and then tour again for LG9 or LG10

What is preventing her to go to Brazil?

The last time she went to South America for BTWB, those dates performed badly so Live Nation probably doesn’t want to take the risk again.
