This is such a great idea! Hope you manage to do it  What show are you planing to film?

If you're going to try and record the audio separately @ChicaSkas can help with some advice / equipment recommendation..

On the other hand I would suggest keeping your storage as free as possible as 4k videos take a LOT of space (have never filmed that much, but yeah, better to be safe).. you might also pay for more iCloud storage and have a backup copy just in case when its done lol 

And always remember to check that the camera is focused, because a lot of times its hard to keep it focused (should be easier as it is a screen tho and not the show itself but still)

I just saw a picture of the Paris show and the screens at the side of the statium are 16:9 in aspect ratio! That means you can fit the whole image in your phones screen proportionately .

Because I used to be and kind of still am scared of getting kicked out, I usually smuggle in Audio recording equipment rather than Video. I use a Sony PCM-10 personal audio recorder to bootleg shows. You do need to watch the Bass and exposure of sound,  if you're too close the entire recording will fail as the sound will overwhelm the speaker.

To get a bit of an idea of size, just test it for 10 minutes and multiply the size. Film a YouTube video playing on your tv really loud or something like that. Then the variable would be how long the concert goes.

Hi all - I'm so sorry for the delay in getting back to you with this. In all honesty I completely forgot as my experience wasn't the best that night (nout to do with gaga).

My seats were at the far back of the stadium, right above/behind an alleyway to which you enter the stadium. This meant that I was able to tape my phone to a rail above the entrance point which I did quickly when the lights went down, and had good access to the screens (bar a light in the way). 

However, moments after taping my phone to the rail a member of staff working the event noticed and came up to me, asking me to stop filming or I'd be 'escorted out'. 

I did explain that other people would be filming, and tried to play it off like it was just for myself but was told because I was filming the screens specifically and attempting to keep the footage stabilised it looked like I had intent to distribute and sell the footage (misquoting this a bit but that's basically what he said).

I get the point, but in all honesty it felt like a power trip. Do I think this person actually cared? No. But I didn't want to risk not enjoying the concert and being thrown out so I stopped filming. I have a very small amount of stupid love (literally about 10 seconds) and some other footage of the screens when I eventually got the balls to film after a few drinks and I will upload at some point but I apologise that I wasn't able to do so as stated.

Last thing: Can you share anything you have from the screen? It does not matter if they are just 10 seconds or 0.5 seconds of video.
