I mean, inflation affects companies too not just consumers. It's not realistic to expect companies not to raise prices when inflation is literally at like 8% Netflix also already ran many losses as it was and yet ppl were still demanding more content even before inflation surged It was not realistic to expect that prices wouldn't have to go up

Then again I didn't go further than episode 1, so I don't know how the rest compares. But reading some reviews, I have a feeling I'm not missing much. I constantly get notifications of a new device logging in and i keep on saying it is me. 😂 (they all check out tho) If they prevent me from sharing my account then i will unsubscribe. I alone dont watch enough Netflix to make it worth it to pay for it monthly. 🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶

And if u dont think u want it badly enough to pay the new rate it's not surprising many decide to just cut it. But then I personally am not gonna complain about it either at current rates cuz I don't by any means find them unreasonable I got other service providers in my Country like internet and phone service that deserve way more of my energy when it comes to disgruntling over unfair prices tbh lol. Netflix is no where near the top of my list
Future Lovers 6,901
There is always gong to be an audience that will get on Netflix when a new season of one of their powerhouses drops (The Crown, Stranger Things, Elite, and now Heartstopper). Where they need to focus their attention is on what happens in the interim. Once people finish the season, they leave. They need produce better supporting content that supplement those main shows to justify sticking around between seasons of their biggest shows AND stop with the dropping of a whole season at one time and do the weekly episode release model that is currently driving revenue nowhere but up for Disney+ and HBO Max to prolong seasons of their big shows to keep people around longer each time. Morphine Prince 105,752
Honestly I always find something to watch on Netflix and I’m a happy customer. I won’t be cancelling any time soon.

Stranger Things alone can’t keep subscribers on an ongoing basis. I’m personally tired of the same same type of shows from Netflix. There isn’t enough good original content other than 2-3 shows that come up within a year. People will just end their subscription and sign back to binge that one show and stop it again. Rebel 5,221
Deserved. They were once known for quality and then went to ****, just pumping out stuff with zero quality control anymore.

Taylucifer 5,139
unsurprising, they aren't giving customers a reason to stick around anymore, it seems every Netflix original tv show which people enjoy gets canceled after 1 season. And its ridiculous this idea that they have that every tv show is going to be a smash hit ESPECIALLY when they release everything all at once, leaving very little time for the show to grab the GP and have an impact. If they want to hold onto customers they need customers to trust them, which rn, a lot of people don't. It's a miracle shows like Young Royals and Blood & Water have got/will have multiple seasons. They lost like $1.8 million a month to make $396 million more every month. It's just cashing in customer goodwill for profit, which is understandable since it's a business and it's not doing anything predatory or locking people in. 3 hours ago, Mr Mendes said: There is always gong to be an audience that will get on Netflix when a new season of one of their powerhouses drops (The Crown, Stranger Things, Elite, and now Heartstopper). Netflix is in a rough spot because it's just too expensive to pump out a bunch of award winning content. They're building out their library with a bunch of meh content. But I think we're seeing a per-episode season rollout in a streaming-era fashion with the season x parts 1 and 2 structure. A big part of Netflix has always been how bingeable their content is. A weekly episode format could seriously hurt that.
Eido 3,676
I don't feel like Resident Evil was that bad... Sure if you expect it to be just like the games well... Just play the game? It's supposed to be in the same universe but a different story
