When I watched it, it gave me an idea of what Gaga's approach to a possible Joker role may be. Of course we don't even know if she will even do it, she will also work with the director to portray a mutual vision of it but that kind of character is something that I would imagine her be within that space - swift changes in her expressions (seriousness/laughter), an unhinged yet human enigmatic female that may duaturb you but you are intrinsically drawn to. I’m absolutely obsessed and it has already become one of my fave Gaga performances EVER. Everything about it, I related with to some degree. It felt like I was watching my emotions and brain talking to me, which sounds so weird but idk how else to articulate it. I could probably find better words/ phrases in time to best describe but omg. It really shook me. And at the start when she COMMANDS everyone to be quiet? Like she is WANTING us to hear every damn word and experience it. It’s something clearly very important and personal that she wants to get across to everyone and I absolutely LOVE everything about it.
