zerojk 4,889
For those considering "selling their tickets" because of the setlist.... LOL, you better off wait to see the show next time before buying tickets if you're going to be so nitpicky I liked the setlist a lot, I think is very solid, of course I have some favorites that she's not performing, I would have loved Scheisse, HML, DITD, Marry the night, but we can't have it all, lets give her a break. I am glad that she's performing songs like ARUTW, which is one of my favs and was such a great surprise, also when I first heard she was opening with Bad Romance I thought it was such a weird choice but the result worked very well, she has always opened/closed with an album song, but let's just allow her to do things different this time and express how she envisions her art
Anderson123 36,175
I think the setlist can still change within the next couple of shows. I wish she'd have included Sine From Above in there, would've been better than The Edge of Glory. Then Scheiße with the 911/Sour Candy outfit in there would've been amazing, along with Government Hooker.. those two songs instead of Telephone and Lovegame. I guess she has to have some of the hits in there instead of album cuts. But overall it looks pretty amazing, Gaga is telling a story here and she picked the songs that go with it, I respect that! Starmie25 14,349
Songs that i believe could fit the current "Telephone/Lovegame" slot - Applause, Paparazzi, Alejandro, Plastic Doll, DWYW, and Dancin in Circles
ARTGOD 3,266
It’s the only bad part of the show. I don’t mind the Chromatica songs that were left out because I think they are the worst ones, but I would’ve preferred them over some of the tired ones she always chooses. I’m just tired of her adding the same predictable songs every single show instead of more deep cuts. I hate that there’s no Joanne or ARTPOP representation when there’s a lot of songs that could’ve fit. I wish she’d do medleys or mashups to be able to fit more songs. I’m sure even a 5 minute ARTPOP medley with snippets of a couple of songs would’ve gagged everyone. If it was a long tour I would expect her to switch it up, but I don’t think it’s happening in such a short one.

Spanish Eyes 2,135
I do like it mostly. I was kinda confused at first but after watching the show twice and seeing her retweet that interpretation of it...she kinda did understand the assignment imo. The songs DO tell the story she's trying to tell. I obviously don't live in her head, but I think she could stay true to her vision for the story while adding some love to ARTPOP and Joanne and also throwing it a little more BTW. My tweaks: - Add Applause right after LoveGame. The sound of the song would fit really good with those high energy dance tracks beforehand AND it fits the theme of that act of the show - reflecting on the ways struggles she faces with trying to reconcile Lady Gaga with Stefani Germanotta. - After Born This Way, sing Diamond Heart. It sorta gets us ready for the acoustic section with more Joanne vibes, plus it addresses the theme of that act - she's not perfect, but she's got a diamond heart. - Rain On Me is lovely, but I think we could fit more time into it. What if it went into Marry The Night? The songs are at similar tempos and the themes aren't too far apart. Plus, ROM is in C# minor and MTN is in A minor; the key change between the songs would produce a really sexy CHROMATIC mediant shift. Plus, the callback to a BTW classic that didn't underperformed would be such a gag. Like she's standing by her work.
Lava 3,201
Paparazzi definitely belonged. Telephone had no place being there. Shallow didn’t either - it was played to hell and back during The Enigma residency. ARUTW was nice to connect with the audience, though. All chromatica songs should have been sung. I really wanted to hear 1000 Doves, sine and plastic doll. Fun tonight missing didn’t bother me tho. aura could have worked or applause. And I really think perfect illusion would have fit well in the finale.

Gaga always picked song from current album on each tour/ball. An example is Artrave when it started with ARTPOP or on JWT - Diamond Heart. Why do you think BR and not a song from Chromatica? I actually really liked it. She started the show with a huge bang.

Zenoax 108
she should've performed all chromatica songs i think sine from above and 1000 doves is a good closer Less is more / Less is a bore
Decodekid 27,119
It’s a weird set list but I some how dig it. Bad Romance as an opener wasn’t something I was expecting but honestly it works as it is a huuuge song. The show in general doesn’t feel like Chromatica but I mean it’s been two years since she released it maybe she wanted to try something new Long Live Gretchen
JustTea 4,381
It's pretty nice. Missing Applause, SFA and Alejandro is kinda sad tho. And tbh Bad Romance, Poker Face and Just Dance could be replaced already, but I understand why those songs will stay forever. Monster could be replaced imo. DontCallMeAlice 1,576
I love that she opens with Bad Romance. It was very unlikely she would do that and again, we didn’t see that coming. Now, the setlist is great but lacks a few great tracks. I would have scrapped Telephone for either Paparazzi or Alejandro. Then, switch LoveGame for Judas. This section of the show fits perfectly the aesthetic of the song imo. Also, I would probably swap TEOG for Marry The Night instead. Other than that, and the fact that I would have included more Chromatica songs, the setlist is quite good imo!!
old sanuk 351
The setlist is perfect. The brutalist monolithic staging, and opening with BR, JD & PF while trapped in a statue? and rotating, not dancing, well, the allegory just hit me that she was artistically sharing her entrapment with these songs. Then onward through the the chronology of of her obstacles overcome to HMH solo power ending. Happy to see she’s embraced flats, not high heels, ‘cause after all, on stage she’s 10 feet tall with talent & performance. She danced a little over half the songs, and the new choreography is great while seemingly less wear & tear than in the past, thankfully. Highlights for me are “Monster”, and “Free Woman” really fitting the allegory, esp. the latter as she strode right through the crowd to the B stage, and of course her ballads Shallow, ARUTW & HMH. Gaga’s artistic genius is untarnished and still growing.
