I wanted to give you guys a small review too because I've been asked before. I will first do a spoiler free review - I'll put the rest in a spoiler so those of you who don't want to know more will not be spoilered.

When we got there it was really messy I have to say. We got there at like 4.15 and sat down a while and the queue was getting longer and longer. They opened up the thing at like 6:45 I think? We were all melting away cuz the sun was out and it was so hot. The staff could have opened up everything a lot earlier.

Then we spent almost 45 minutes looking for the stand where we could get our merch gifts and we asked several security guards and people at the information about where it was. Nobody knew anything... they barely spoke any german or english and were just shrugging their shoulder. lol

Then we waited another 30 minutes in line to get some food and drinks. It was really hot and full everywhere. :samanthac: The whole organization from the stadium was a complete mess compared to Frankfurt. lol

We just got in time for Gaga - and in the whole stadium I didn't have any internet/LTE cuz there was no signal so I couldn't upload or stream anything.

But the show was a GREAT SHOW! I had such an amazing evening!!! Her vocals were amazing :air: and her dance moves were out of this world! I've always said it: She's a very good dancer! And keep in mind that she's ****ing singing live to it. Who can do it like her? Nobody!

Our seats were ok, but everything was really tight and there wasn't a lot of space there to dance... (but I danced anyway xD) Next time I wanna be on the floor on the sides because there is so much free space hich means space to ****ing dance! :lana:

Spoiler

My favorite performance of the night was definitely Enigma!!! That slapped and everybody was dancing! AMAZING! I like the song even more now (I loved it before) but it's become another favoite now

At first I was a tiny bit disapppointed because the stage wasn't what I expected - it looked cooler from the front but we (from the sides) couldn't see the middle part when she was back in there.

For the first 3 songs Gaga was in the middle part so we couldn't see her (only on the screens) so the stage design could've been a bit better. (although I liked the aesthetics)

For 911 they should've added more bass because people didn't dance as much - you couldn't really feel the dance drop on this one. (Maybe some technical issues?)

And with Alice Gaga didn't dance on this one and I think this is why people didn't dance either... as soon as they danced their asses off, people started too.

And OMG we were like 15 - 20m from the stage and when that fire went off it was SO HOT! xD That was amazing! I can't imagine what it must've felt like right next to it :tony:

Her visuals were out of this world!!!! It was classic Gaga! This pic kinda sums it up (except for the pink hair)

Something people are forgetting

I don't understand why people are not liking the setlist. Of course she will sing her biggest hits... have you maybe thought about the fact that there are still lil monsters who have never seen her perform even though they have been a huge fan since the beginning? (Like me)

Just because u have seen those songs many times because u went to all her shows doesn't mean other people have heard them yet. There were also quite a few "casual fans of the GP" that probably only came for the hits. She had to play stuff for everyone.

The more the years pass by the more songs will come and it's also hard to decide which songs to perform.

People say she didn't talk as much with the audience... she did talk about some things but you've all seen her latest insta post right? I think she was a bit nervous which is why she also messed up the lyrics in Bad Romance at the beginning. It has been a while since she performed - and she doesn't always perform for 54K people! I think she needs some time to get into it again. (But she did talk in between some songs)

The visuals were SO CHROMATICA! Have y'all forgotten that Chromatica is one of her darkest albums???

Anyways! There were some small things that could've been a bit better (like the stage from the side) but nonetheless I had a great evening - I sang along and danced my ass off even though I had limited space. Next time I'm gonna be on the floor for sure!

PS: Can we please appreciate in what great shape she was? She clearly worked out a lot for this (to being able to do all those choreos) and her body looked so freaking hot! Me and my sis (both straight) - we were both like: Damn her body and ass is so hot! :awesome:  :poot:

GA is definitely the way to go. This will be my 6th time seeing her live and I can't imagine the energy being the same seated.

Regarding the hits: she opened R1BW with BTW& BR, she stuck all the hits together into one segment at Artrave.. its a great idea to have everyone hyped from the start with a big favourite or 2, especially if the locals came to see those tracks.

The thing with a set list is you want to set the tone & energy from the start and that iconic bad Romance opening is a clear way to do it.

Can you imagine Bad Romance not stealing focus elsewhere? It'd need to go at the start or the end for this tour.

Personally I would've scrapped pokerface altogether, and love game (she must love that song, it isn't even a massive hit)... but the energy was for Chromatica, inner demons, etc not about a firey relationship.

I think the problem with seating is that the venue shouldn't have sold the seats to the far sides! Or they should be at a dramatically reduced price

The night sounds amazing though :bradley:  I'm glad you had such a good time!

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I wasn't that far on the side so I cpuld still see really good. (There was a whole other block next to us and I guess they didn't see much)

Next time I'll be on the floor - I just got seats because my sis was with me and she wanted to sit...

Sadly no, I was in the golden circle and we had the same problem. There are definitely major flaws in the stage design when it comes to sight lines.

I am praying they take down the catwalk barriers because they block Gaga completely from view when she's center stage. She is tiny and not in heels.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

No I don't. Did you hear me say that I invalidated people's feelings regarding ARTPOP or Joanne? I just said that I don't get why people are angry because she sang some of her biggest hits.

I myself was hoping for Applause and Dancin' in Cirles, but she decided to not sing those and guess what? I'm ok with that. I'm still happy with all the songs she chose.

Gaga certainly can't please everyone and this fanbase is always demanding from her. No matter what she does, it's never right for everyone. If she had sung more ARTPOP songs, there would be other people saying: Where are her biggest hits? No matter how she does it, it will always be wrong for some. That's life though; can't please everyone.

I noticed that this time she didn't really wear heels which I thought was kinda cool. I guess it was easier for her to dance :tony:

Yup, it works really well for her! And I was happy to see they were some actually supportive boots and not the weird diy augmented demonia's she wears in stupid love for example, where they cut off the platforms and were left with weird looking probably uncomfortable boots.

I think they also made the boxed stage so she doesn't have to exhaust herself even more covering large distances. I do however feel they should've checked the sight lines better.

Sure, there is no right or wrong in this, so that's your subjective opinion and I have mine. And since this is a Gaga forum a lot of people on here will probably find that she's the best performer. :vegas:

what i don't get is when someone is like "x is better than x, sorry that's my opinion!!!" but is so bashful towards other people's opinions. like you wanna talk about respecting your own opinion but you treat other people like ****. make it make sense.

anyway, i have a feeling she didn't perform in heels (i didn't watch the livestream, going by what you said) because she's trying to find a way to feel more comfortable for this tour. people are saying she's not as stressed, she seems more relaxed. i really hope that's true. i don't want her to push herself to her limits just to make us happy. i don't want to see her get injured or sick. i'd rather have a gaga wear crocs at the ball than have a gaga on the edge of a fibro breakout because she wants to please all of us when it's clear that it's impossible to please a good bit of the little monster fanbase. i just hope she's feeling alright.

i've seen the stage, and the whole brutalism thing is definitely something interesting. to me, it's like the BTWB castle but without all of the self empowerment that it had. as gaga said, it's taking a harsh look at yourself, and i think this is expressed through each phase in the album. chromatica I is about wonder, chromatica II seems to be shakier than the first, something starts to become more unhinged, like if you start to become aware of your issues, and chromatica III is about accepting that harsh reality that you're in this state and that you need people. i think i'd rather have her perform songs that really fit well with this concept than have her perform dancin' in circles or whatever because we haven't seen all of the visuals for chromatica, and we really need the concept of chromatica to finally be entirely expressed. it's very important.
