I feel like my standadrs are pretty low because I think the concert is awesome butĀ it seems likeĀ too many people aren't enjoying it. Could the setlist have been better? Yes, the stage and the visualsĀ haveĀ no correlation with Chromatica's initial concept? Yes. But the show is incredible in my opinion.Ā

I am absolutely thrilled with what I've seen. I'll be going in September, but I can never resist spoilers. I love dark gothic imagery, I love that she's going full on TFM meets BTW with the visuals (and even the setlist). I was expecting bright, pink, alien, colorful imagery based on the Stupid Love aesthetic, but honestly, I'm glad she went in an unexpected direction! The setlist is nearly perfect, I just really wish she would've added Sexxx Dreams.Ā

I'm sure a lot of passion and time went into the show but that doesn't always equal to a great end product.

As fans, we are allowed to have an opinion....Ā

I get your point in the first part of the topic, thats a opinion.

But what about the part of you thinking about selling your ticket?

So how can you have an opinion if you are not going to see the real life show?

Were they there? No.Ā

End of discussion. Energy in the videos can not match the live one. There is something special in ALL of us holding our paws up, screaming, sweating, singing etc.Ā

Ā

I don't care about opinion of someone who was not there.Ā

Amen!!Ā

I loved it. I love how well Gaga seems to be doing, both physically and mentally. It really reflects in her performance! Also adore that she ditched the dodgy 911 choreo by Richy.Ā

Setlist was definitely made to please the GP though. We don't need to hear LoveGame and Telephone again. Marry the Night???? Give her her moment Gaga! I think Fun Tonight on the piano would have worked really nicely too, fits the theme perfectly. Given the setlist seems to be targeted towards the GP, I'm surprised she finishes with Hold My Hand. Slightly anticlimactic, nobody wants to see the crowd going home early.

However...interludes, costumes, choreo, energy, VOCALS(!!!!)... all a serve. She seems like an entirely different person to her Enigma self.

I agree with another user who said that there was a lack of crowd interaction. Perhaps that'll come when she's more settled into the show.

The only thing that surprised me, considering how talkative she was on previous tours, is this time she's barely interacting with the crowd, other than "put your hands up" and all of this stuff while she's singing.

This. She isn't talking to the crowd at all. It's just song after song after song. It's making the show feel rushed.

Itā€™s always that way during the first couple shows.

I only saw a cheesy instagram livestream and i have to say: this show is a masterpiece!Ā

Her vocals, the outfits m, the choreography and her energy:giveup:

The stage and the visuals are absolutely Chromatica. It's Chromatica when you erase the glamor and the glitter. What's left behind is a dark and cold state of mind.Ā

I understand that that's not visulas that a lot of you wanted but that's the heart of chromaticas concept.Ā

I'm so mad that I won't see this show live :'(

I wasn't at the show, I've just watched a bunch of not-great-quality videos, butĀ here's what I think.

I think itĀ looked spectacular andĀ Gaga herself looked and sounded great. I don't just mean that I liked the bleached blonde look, which I did, but I think she looked fit and healthy, and I think she sounded healthy too. There wasĀ a smoothnessĀ or something (I don't know) back in her voice. I thought it was noticeable in Vegas in April, and it was there again last night.

Re the setlist, I wonder did she opt to open with some standards out of nervousness, i.e. keep it simple till she got back into the swing of it. Personally IĀ wouldn't want Telephone and Lovegame in there, and I would want Applause and Diamond Heart, but look, you could go round in circles with that stuff forever. If you have 100 tracks in your discography and you're only going to perform about 20 .... well then if you have 100 people in a room you're going to get 100 different setlists.

I thought Hold My Hand stood out because it was different - no choreo, no piano, just stand and belt, and she nailed it. Great song to close with. I thought it worked better than the piano section, but maybe that's down to the quality of the videos I watched. I do think she looked shattered at the end, out onĀ her feet for ROM.

This was not only theĀ first time she performed this show, but also her first tour performance in over four years, plus she had a lot of new faces on stage with her. I'd say the show will improve as it goes on.

I have watched almost the whole concert on YouTube from beginning to end and I have to say, I am very disappointed.

ThereĀ is no creativity or anything that made me shocked and excited. The lights look nice but thats not enough when we are talking about a Gaga show. I went to the BTWB and Joanne Tour and they each had unique elements to the stage and costomes and props that made it very interesting.Ā

The Chromatica Ball looks boring in comparison. She hasn't even bothered to remix her old hits like Just Dance and PokerFace. I mean, it has been 14 years since those songs came out and she hasn't changed a thing musically. Even the dance moves all look the same - fast/every dancer in sync/intense. Why doesn't she change it up? Its repitive and boring now.Ā

I expected a lot more, and if you are a "fan" that says we shouldn't expect anything from Gaga and she doesn't owe us anything, we are paying for her lavish lifestyle with $200 tickets (which I paid for the Toronto show). She defintley owes it to the fans , who areĀ taking time out of thier busy lives and paying a ton of cash, to put on an extraodinary show and the footage I have seen so far does not do it justice. Very upset and thinking of selling my tickets to be honest.Ā

I won't discuss your opinion because you're allowed to think what you want but you can't say there wasn't creativity put into the show only because she didn't rearrange her hits (Just Dance had a remixed intro though, and so did most of the songs on the setlist except LoveGame and Telephone which were the Enigma versions): the opening visual alone is more creative than the whole Enigma show.Ā

Can we please appreciate the choreo for Replay and the sick way they were dancing? So demonic and haunting!

I can't stop watching it... it's so good :enigma:

So far I think Iā€™m basically excited to see it irl. Iā€™ve tried not to watch too many videos, so hopefully thereā€™s a lot of details and intricacies I have yet to discover.

Iā€™m just amazed at how she constantly manages to go against expectations. I donā€™t think anyone expected this to be the show that wouldĀ celebrate Chromatica. The same way nobody expected the 911 video to be what we got. I donā€™t know if she does it on purpose, or if her brain just works in a completely unique way. Itā€™s probably a bit of both.

Either way, sheā€™s as captivating as sheā€™s ever been. I feel like this show celebrates her overall artistry more than it celebrates Chromatica. You can get glimpses of themes and visuals that have obsessed her her entire career. It definitely feels like a visual comeback to her dark pop roots, the natural sequel to the Monster Ball and BTWBall. Anyway, canā€™t wait to experience it myself.

Honestly I've tried to stay away from full videos, so I've only seen glimpses so far. I'm just happy she turned to Nick Knight once again for those interludes, it creates a strong visual link with the MB. It feels like she's going back to her roots. It's also probably the darkest show she's ever done, and I'm not complaining. But I absolutely did not expect this vibe, and I'm wondering if it's an indication of where she wants to go in the future. At the end of the day, Chromatica is 2 years old, she's in a different mood now, so maybe this is what the show is reflecting.

Iā€™ve been to the show and I have mixed feelings about it. I saw her live during every tour and I can say that TCB is in the top 3. The show was pure GAGA, vocals were incredible comparing to other tours, the looks were chefā€™s kiss and the visuals 1000/10, butā€¦thereā€™s also something off with it. First of all in my opinion the show was meant to be seen directly from the front so that youā€™ll be able to see everything since itā€™s a ā€œboxed stageā€. I was a bit disappointed with the stage design because I had seats on the sideĀ of the stadium and I couldnā€™t see much of what was happening on the stage or on the screens, and these were some good seats, I donā€™t even want to think about the ā€œrestricted view seatsā€ā€¦and I guess thatā€™s the main problem for most of the audience whoā€™s seating on the sides..I mean there were so many people seating or standing on the stairs or near the barriers in my section because the view was not the best for the price. Security had to come a million times to convince them to go to their seats and after the first act a lot of people were just leaving.Ā I watched some videos on youtube that were filmed to captureĀ the full stage from the front and tbh my real experience at the show wasnā€™t that great than what Iā€™ve seen on youtube since you were notĀ able to experience the full show with its visuals, backdropsĀ and lights by seating on the side. Another problem with the stage is that the catwalks are only being used 2 times during the whole show, for Love Game and Babylon so basically they are just useless since most of the action is happening on the main stage. Letā€™s talk about the setlistā€¦I know she needs to perform her big hits as well, but was it really necessary to perform them in full or even to extend them with intros or outros? I mean some of them couldā€™ve been mixed into a medley or even completely scrapped (e.g. Love Game, Telephone, T.E.O.G) in order to make more space for some fan favourites like Marry The Night, DITD or HMLā€¦also the video and band interludes between the acts are very long (between 3-5 minutes)Ā and could be shorter to be able to add fewĀ more songs to the setlist. Gaga was great overall, but you could tell that something was off with her. She seemed scared and cold and not that open to interact with the audience like I remembered her from the past tours. I even watched some close-up videos from the show on youtube and I look in her eyes and I feel like sheā€™s screaming for helpĀ and barely makes any eye contact with the public and always keep looking only in a certain direction for most of the time. But maybe that could also be because it was her first show in years and itā€™s understandable. Anyway I loved every single second and I missed her a lot! Friendly advice: if you plan to attend and still havenā€™t got any tickets, I recommend you should either buy GA or seats that face the full frontal stage, but NO SIDE SEATS if you want to experience the full show!!!!
