The thing about it is, you can be critical and have an opinion but don't be an asshole. I WISHED I had the money and friends to go see Gaga perform. From what I have seen on Twitter, I would have definitely enjoyed it more than some people that actually went lol.....

Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.

love the theatrics of it

love that the choreography is finally taking her health / body into account. I always felt that choreos lately were too hard on her body and also very all over the place .. she was barely breathing on the VMAs

Could anyone advice me on the "best" spot for the golden circle early entry?
If it's possible I am going as near as possible to the main stage, but during Free Woman you can get quite close to her when she walks of off the catwalk, but is it worth it for just a few seconds?

I also read that many people couldnt even see her whilst being in the golden circle!!!???? How is that possible, where exactly did these people stand that their vision got blocked?

Cavadour

I couldn’t be there. But from the phone stream live yesterday to the gorgeous LauiiiHD YT videos today - thank you ! - I wiped some tears of emotion. From what I read here and there on GGD, there are so many attempts to box LG in whatever expectations or comparisons to what she has done in the past, instead of keeping an open heart and soul to what she brings to the table. Her versatility and ways to excel in so many art fields, including stardom are literally unmatched. Of course I like some things she does more than others, but in the end, the true purpose of artistry is not to please the most, but to say something.

As others already mentioned, Gaga tells her own story on the Chromatica stage. From her early hits - caught in chrysalis, to the last hit as encore, mecha hand in the air. Stratospheric performance. Wish I was there to join the jubilant crowd. :excited:

I absolutely loved (not only and in no particular order) the otherworldly vocals, the menacing dance moves, the return of the Countess, the Predator hairstyle (no wig?), the energy...

I will not delve in petty inconveniences here. I felt so emotional along the whole show that it is maybe too early to judge. I will watch videos of the next shows and try to sink and absorb more details.

Gaga has matured and evolved again. Like any real eclectic creator, she’s learning from her various experiences. To people who are scared that acting will take her away from music take note, because the exact opposite shows in this last performance !

Thank you, Gaga for making me feel  overwhelmed  once again. Long live, beautiful. :applause:

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

Not the best song on Chroro getting ignored!

Main stage needs to come out of the box more, the catwalk(s) should be extended to the B stage (concerned for her health due to Covid when walking through the crowd even though it was a SERVE, especially when she gets to the U.S. where Covid BA4/5 is spreading like wildfire unchecked), and SHE NEEDS TO ADD PLASTIC DOLL TO THE SET LIST before or after Enigma when she's on the micstand alone.

Bloody Michael

LOVED IT SO MUCH, i'm looking foward to HQ pics and videos. She's giving what we thought we would get with LG5 after AHS. This is one of her most polished (if not the most) tours she's ever done. The concept, the music, her energy, the visuals, her hair, HER, her performance overall, her control and even expressions. I think she was a little bit nervous but at the same time so confident in herself, she really embodied the word professionalism.

She also looks SOOO GOOD :bradley:, that vampire witchy pale Gaga aesthetic looks so good on her. Vocals and theatrics on point as always. The first two acts blew me away. I wanted to believe i was over DarkGa, but I'm NOT.

The only thing that bothers me is that i'm not going, and i would've loved for this tour to be my first time seeing her. Also the end was like... weird? like off? like people couldn't tell if it was actually over.

This tour also makes me think, that either they planned chromatica to get darker and deeper as the era went on (for instance Stupid Love - Rain on me - 911, they get more "serious" and less colorful) or Gaga changed her perspective on Chromatica to less color and more brutal reality.

I have watched almost the whole concert on YouTube from beginning to end and I have to say, I am very disappointed.

There is no creativity or anything that made me shocked and excited. The lights look nice but thats not enough when we are talking about a Gaga show. I went to the BTWB and Joanne Tour and they each had unique elements to the stage and costomes and props that made it very interesting.

The Chromatica Ball looks boring in comparison. She hasn't even bothered to remix her old hits like Just Dance and PokerFace. I mean, it has been 14 years since those songs came out and she hasn't changed a thing musically. Even the dance moves all look the same - fast/every dancer in sync/intense. Why doesn't she change it up? Its repitive and boring now.

I expected a lot more, and if you are a "fan" that says we shouldn't expect anything from Gaga and she doesn't owe us anything, we are paying for her lavish lifestyle with $200 tickets (which I paid for the Toronto show). She defintley owes it to the fans , who are taking time out of thier busy lives and paying a ton of cash, to put on an extraodinary show and the footage I have seen so far does not do it justice. Very upset and thinking of selling my tickets to be honest.

Thats the big Problem with media (videos)  + expectations.

You cannot be surprised by an artist , and in your case, you do not give Gaga the chance to perform for you in real life... The show was beyond. I was there last night and it was a blast to see how much passion and love everyone put into that show..

Thats quite sad to read something like that from a fan..

I'm sure a lot of passion and time went into the show but that doesn't always equal to a great end product.

As fans, we are allowed to have an opinion....

Talented, Brilliant, Incredible, Amazing, Showstopping, Spectacular, Never The Same, Totally Unique, Completely Not Ever Been Done Before, Unafraid To Reference Or Not Reference, Put It In A Blender, **** On It, Vomit On It, Eat It, Give Birth To It.

The reason why this concert means so much to me is because I had a **** year. Few months ago I thought that I was dying of cancer, then being fired because of my illness - being able to be with my fellow brothers and sisters, just jumping, belting, screaming, dancing, crying, hugging and kissing means so much to me. It now fueled me with so much positivity and faith in better tomorrow that will last for years as I met amazing people there and became friends with them.

Were they there? No.

End of discussion. Energy in the videos can not match the live one. There is something special in ALL of us holding our paws up, screaming, sweating, singing etc.

I don't care about opinion of someone who was not there.

Right. I will be very surprised if indeed Tait Towers are responsible for the stage design. The concept is great but the execution is not so much.

IN MY OPINION, the design could’ve been way more simplistic without screwing up the views for the people on the sides. There’s many ways to reinterpret brutalism and architecture, I’m a little surprised the design team went for the most obvious, given the abstractions and artistry of the interludes and visuals.
