This show offers us so much that is here to still be processed yet so many of you jump on the complain train. It's really a shame but only represents a number of people that can also be seen directly in the audience, it was sad to hear people nearby talking about the performance Gaga has just given because "the stage was too minimalistic" or "the hits at the beginning gave an underwhelming intro". It gave me Gagadaily vibes :bear:

I was really stunned how people could complain about a performance that has never been seen before and was nearly over coming from self-proclaimed Gaga stans, who should know better.

To anyone who is looking forward to watch the Ball or is part of the show live. Be excited and don't let your hype get ruined by what people say on here, sure it's legit to critisize it but given the Insta Live where she put everything into context I feel like many didn't actually took time to understand what she tries to explain with this tour. It definitely is not a commercialized thing. This was Gaga in a perfomative league that is high-class and felt clean and clear in a way never been done before by her own standards, like she finally found her place again that we haven't seen in a LONG time yet in a new way. All of the references and songs from TFM, BTW, ASIB, Top Gun and ARTPOP put together even with a sprinkle of TF with such transitions felt like she's just released TFM and is touring it. Like it never felt like performing songs just for the sake of it. She was fresh and awake. Her presence was cutthroat it gave me COUNTESS VIBES. She danced her ass off! The choreo, sorry if Richie is responsible for this, but oh well, the choreo was really well done. (But this shouldn't excuse his behaviour of course)

You could tell she was nervous, which gave the whole thing a sense of purity. It costed her much to perform the songs. It came from a place of honesty, even the songs that I felt like made it into the setlist to please the regular gurls (ASIB and Top Gun). The setlist tells a clear path of storyline that is not directed to some fans but her LITTLE MONSTERS. In my opinion this show is specifically directed to us. At least I had that feeling from the prelude on that she wanted to tell us something by performing. And the suprise of the night for me was that I accepted Hold My Hand as a song that is moving me - as a Little Monster. The way it was performed - she put all her heart in that belting voice, it will live rentfree in my mind forever. It felt like a final loveletter at the end of a story about a very troublesome relationship.

One last thing about the stage: this brutalist aesthetics fits the story really well, especially given the specific technical conditions there are for a stadium tour. I was in GCEE and it felt like standing in the monster pit in an arena tour, like in front of the BTW stage. Unfortunately I was often unsure whether people here are actually superfans or not. Especially when the fans in the Pitch EE area were louder than us and the real deal makers :vegas: The first five rows however definitely had a blast but after that row people started to record every two songs with their phones and didn't really bring the atmosphere I expected from a Gaga opening night in that area. But I don't want to throw them under the bus. The atmosphere overall was very exciting and I feel like many didn't go crazy because everything was new and they were just stunned and it was hard to let go to not miss what was happening all the time. Probably GCEE will definitely feel more like a monster pit in a few dates when people know what is coming and get more into the special groove this show offers.
One thing you should be excited about as well: REPLAY and ENIGMA. The sound system slapped the **** out of these songs and Gaga performing had the whole stadium in her headlock :firega: I am still processing what happened last night but one thing I can say for sure: be excited. It's a MONSTER Ball. (pun intended)

Not what I expected. The outfit I am wearing is pink and green:triggered:

I didnt like the stage or the setlist, I would have loved some fan favorites. The aesthetic of the tour screams Judas, Alejandro, Scheisse, Sex Dreams…

The thing I didnt like the most was her not talking to the audience. I hope she noticed that and she memorizes a few lines here and there like at her past shows.

My favorite thing was the choreo. She has NEVER danced this good, all her movements were on point. I also loved the outfits, she looked great (but I would change the rain on me one). I dont see how the hair relates to chromatica but blonde gaga with bleached brows is my favorite so I cant complain.

I really hope she changes her hair at every show like she did at the monterball. Even if its the same hairstyle with different lenghts.

I had early entrance tickets, went in pretty fast!

I absolutely loved it. Went in with no expectations except fir her ainging live and got completely transported to Chromatica.

At first I was in the crowd at the front but I decided it would be better for me if I go a bit back. There I met some amazing people, we danced together, cried together, sang together, got drunk together and even went to toilets together. Outfits, coreo were superb BUT camera work is from another galaxy.

Only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't any opening act. I'd love if aomeone hyped us up even more

Also, I met absolute cutie @Oriane🥰

This should count for metacritic :applause:

I agree.

And you were right, we in EE section were WILD (Mainly because we had very easy access to beer). I was also able to sneak in a bottle of rakia so I was giving people shots 😂

I absolutely loved the costumes and visuals, I love the dark theme :enigma:

I thought it followed her story quite well from beginning her career and experiencing trauma, to taking us into her mind, and then healing in the end. From some comments I think maybe she should have been more explicit about it tho because I think some didn't realize the story/timeline

My favorite parts are probably Enigma, Babylon, BTW, and ARUTW. Oh and Monster!!

The interlude in the middle with her talking, I felt like this was a new character somehow?? :what:

This show definitely feels like the 'old Gaga' from around 2011! Never thought we'd see a dark, sexy, crazy show from her again!

Same here! even the energy is literally the same, I am really surprised tbh

It was amazing! :bradley:

Yes, I haven't seen many people react to this so I don't think it's obvious from the videos, but the camera work is incredible. The cameras and performers are totally in sync, everything is thought out, the angles, the movements, the effects, it felt like watching a music video rather than a concert!

I was in the front row of the general standing area, and the atmosphere was really great where I was! I was next to a group of people who were really loud and drunk, but their excitement was contagious. If you heard a group of people singing What's up by 4 non blondes, that was us :ladyhaha:

I absolutely adored it. I cried multiple times. So sad I'm not able to use my ticket.

I really wish people would have the decency to keep their negative opinions at least a few days or not on the first page (first POST even) and ruin the mood for everyone. Like have some social skills? Read the room? And then they double down and pollute the thread with bad energy. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME Gaga does anything. The dissatisfied people are the loudest.

Mother of Puppies

I think the stage was meant to be that way... cold and plain... and brutal like your darkest thoughts...your mind when it is sick.

And it didn't distract from her outfits which I think was perfect!

And is nobody talking about the fire effects? C'mon now that was awesome! We really felt the heat so intensely :tony:

Overall I'd say I'm slightly disappointed

Good points: Incredible vocals throughout the whole show, Gaga had a lot of energy, interludes are really good, the Babylon/FW/BTW segment was my favorite, Hold My Hand was actually good as a closer

Disappointing points : the stage is extremely disappointing, many performances felt unfinished/lacking something more, the old hits could be remixed/replaced by newer stuff or fan favorites

With the Chromatica story/alien vibes etc there was so much potential to deliver one of her best tours but everything ended up feeling very empty

Killa

the songs from chromatica really came alive

Alice was fantastic, free woman etc and she came hard on the dance factor. You listen to a show and you know she understands dance music

Some parts really dont work on stage, as seem very static and the stage is very static and not colorful, it could be that dark but with some different design. And i always feel like the placement of the dancers can be strange, as they look clumsy and stuck there. Dont know how to put it.

Its a fantastic show with some moments that come alive and some moemnts with a Gaga that kinda gets drowned. Honestly im so bumped i cant go. It looks amazing and made me like even Sour Candy like wow. And gaga hasnt been this sexy on stage since wow a long time, free beautiful  movements

Seems like it could need some down moments in the middle part tho

I was there yesterday and it was MAGICAL. It was just magical. Gaga is vocally at her PEAK guys, I never heard Shallow THAT good.

what annoyed me the most was the staff from the stadium ._. and don't get me wrong, I LIVEEEEE for the visuals, but for my taste they were a little bit too long.
